We hosted 7 members of the Tarapoto, Peru club May 20-27th, 2008.  Even though the group was small it was a very successful exchange. Despite their limited English  great friendship was attained.

 

Our welcome party was held in conjunction with our club meeting at the Salt Lake County Complex.  We enjoyed a pot luck dinner, enjoyed mingling with our guests, played Bingo in English and Spanish.  Our entertainment was 3 Native American dancers.

 

Our guests enjoyed visiting many cites in the Salt Lake area, including Park City, Kennecott, Olympic sites,  the LDS Temple Square, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast.   Individual dinner parties were hosted by some of our club members that were unable to host.

 

The farewell brunch was at Mary's condo after the tabernacle broadcast.
