Club meetings are held bi-monthly on the third TUESDAY of the month.
We meet at the Salt Lake County Complex, 2001 South State Street, SLC,
(In the North end of the South building by the atrium) 
 
  VISITORS ARE VERY WELCOME!!
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. social time and refreshments
7:00 - 7:30 p.m. business meeting
7:30-  8:00 p.m. Cultural related program and announcements on upcoming exchanges
8:30-  9:00 p.m.  social and conclusion

March 16,    World Friendship Day Celebration 

May 25,      club meeting/ farewell party for San Antonio Exchange/extravaganza program

July 20,     Club meeting

August 17   Summer party at Daryl & Carolyn Anderson's home in North Ogden

Sept. 21     Presentation on Norway by Kris Hill, followed by a Norwegian folk dancing group

Nov. 16       Galapagos Islands presentation by Don & Nona Bressler

Dec.            Christmas party

 

 

 
We hosted 7 members of the Tarapoto, Peru club May 20-27th, 2008.  Even though the group was small it was a very successful exchange. Despite their limited English  great friendship was attained.
 
Our welcome party was held in conjunction with our club meeting at the Salt Lake County Complex.  We enjoyed a pot luck dinner, enjoyed mingling with our guests, played Bingo in English and Spanish.  Our entertainment was 3 Native American dancers.
 
Our guests enjoyed visiting many cites in the Salt Lake area, including Park City, Kennecott, Olympic sites,  the LDS Temple Square, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast.   Individual dinner parties were hosted by some of our club members that were unable to host.
 
The farewell brunch was at Mary's condo after the tabernacle broadcast.
