Our Club

As a member of the Friendship Force, I recognize that I can make a difference.  I recognize that I have a mission.  That mission is to be a friend to the people of the world.  As I embark upon this adventure, I know that others will be watching me.  I know that through my example to my own fellow citizen and the people of other nations the cause of friendship, love and peace will be furthered.

I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

History of Our Club
Our club was organized Sept. 1978 by Governor Scott Mattheson.  Our first exchange in 1979 was between Marciabo, Venezuela with 254 Utah members attending and at the same time we hosted 254 Venezuelan's in Salt Lake.  We have been active since this time with over 38 incoming and 35 outgoing exchanges.

Typically we will have one incoming and outgoing international exchange each year.  We are also enjoying domestic exchanges with other clubs in the United States.  We also participate with other clubs that travel to destinations we are interested in.
